In the presence of Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and Prince Sultan Al-Abdallah Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Cars and Motorcycles, the internationally recognized class event of Dakar Rally, kicked off here today, at Northern Corniche of Jeddah, the main seaport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, giving to the Red Sea.
It was the official inauguration ceremony of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2020 edition.
The Saudi Dakar Rally 2020 will last through on 17 January 2020, as it was the for the first time for the event to take place, in an Asian country.
It is worth mentioning that the rally is set to witness participation of 556 drivers from 62 different countries, around the world.
